This past weekend I went to the county fair with my favorite girlfriends. The one thing I can never pass up is the funnel cake stand (I couldn’t even if I tried!). I could smell the sweet deep-fried vanilla cake the second I walked through the gate. I knew we were close when we were suddenly walking through a cloud of powdered sugar. There it was…the biggest funnel cake I had ever seen, topped with a mound of powdered sugar and a light sprinkle of cinnamon for a little extra sweetness! I sat at a picnic table indulging in sweets and laughs with my girls. The calories were worth all the memories that day brought me!
