As autumn's vibrant hues set the Vermont hills ablaze, I settled into a lodge overlooking the Green Mountains. The air filled with the earthy scent of mahogany and the rich, smoky warmth of applewood crackling in a nearby fire as I indulged in a spiced fig tart, and a warm mug of cider. The landscape outside was a tapestry of fall leaves, their colors vivid against the deep green of the forest. It was the perfect backdrop to inspire Rustling Leaves & Bark, encompassing the warmth of applewood, the depth of mahogany, and the subtle sweetness of figs.
